Job Summary:
The primary responsibility for this role will be as the IT technical lead on any/all capital projects and/or moves. As such, some Project Management skill is preferred as well as a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with vendors, consultants, and other outside service providers
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding status of in-servicing, troubleshooting, completion, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues as related to desktop support
- Perform advanced troubleshooting steps to diagnose and resolve problems, including the repair and replacement of parts, and providing creative workarounds
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Minimum 2-5 years experience of desktop support, additional telecom experience a plus
- Excellent understanding of user environment management, including desktops/laptops, profile management, software delivery, etc.
- Project Management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Imaging and deployment of computers and necessary peripheral devices
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards, including Microsoft Windows 10, VPN, TCP/IP, Mac OS X is a plus
- Ability to operate tools components, and periphery accessories required
- Ability to conduct research into telephony, PC hardware and software issues, and products
- Technical knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent phone system preferred
