This is more than just a career – it’s your opportunity to make a difference.You like to do this:Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compatibility with defined system architectures (e.g., DoDAF, SOA).Assist with the development and allocation of system and functional requirements to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.Coordinate and resolve action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, and test reviews.Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based on comprehensive development and operational considerations.Define and manage interfaces, design changes, and configurations across affected groups throughout the system life cycle.Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components.Derive stakeholder needs and lower-level requirements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and verifiability.Generate alternative system concepts, architectures, and design solutions.Establish and gain approval for system definitions, including requirements, designs, interfaces, and test procedures.Define methods, processes, and criteria for system verification in written plans.Develop system design solutions and derived requirements for Information Assurance services (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, authentication, access control).Review and provide input to program and contract work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and integrated master plans (IMP).You are required to have this:Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.OR an additional 5 years of Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree (19 years total).Strong expertise in analyzing system requirements and developing design solutions.Experience in guiding systems development and integration planning.Proficiency in system documentation, requirements allocation, and stakeholder collaboration.Knowledge of Information Assurance services and security mechanism technologies.Excellent problem-solving, technical aptitude, and leadership skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
