Job Description:
USPRO is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Engineer who can help realize the digital manufacturing strategy within the organization, ensuring that both internal and external supply chains are aligned with the digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive improvements and transformation in digital manufacturing capabilities.
- Align efforts with the corporate roadmap, architecture, and systems (Systems of Record, Differentiation, and Innovation).
- Ensure readiness within the business for the changes digital systems will bring, both in process and people.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with HSE standards.
- Contribute to achieving Zero Harm program goals.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet design intent and mitigate process deviations.
- Foster a culture of zero defects and product "Right First Time" within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with company, legislative, and technical policies (e.g., RRMS, SABRE, Export Control, and Intellectual Property).
- Identify opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes, digital systems, and technologies.
- Develop, manage, and communicate plans, schedules, resources, and costs.
- Design, implement, validate, and improve manufacturing processes and digital systems.
- Use data to continuously enhance manufacturing processes and capabilities.
- Implement standardized digital manufacturing processes and technologies across the product lifecycle.
- Ensure business readiness for process and people changes to maximize the impact of digital solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams and local experts to ensure the technical aspects of manufacturing processes and digital systems are understood and applied.
Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the organization's operations.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Systems and associated software tools commonly used in production environments.
- Proven experience in deploying Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a production setting.
- Proficiency in Python and MS SQL Server is preferred.
Pay Rate:
$36-$50 per hour DOE
