Description
- As integration architect helping NYS agency application development teams to architect, design/develop and implement reusable IT assets as web services and APIs.
- Administration and configurations for the NYS API Management (gateway) shared service which is Rogue Wave Software's Akana (previously SOA Software) implementation. We have two production instances of the Akana API Management Gateway and several non-production instances. This environment virtualizes 400+ production API/web services, and over two dozen Message Broker/MQ and JMS based services.
- Administration of PKI keys within Akana API Management solution for consuming applications which require private keys to be acquired from Certificate Authorities. Public certificates must be distributed to and from our service consumers. Familiarity of PKI Architecture, toolsets to support PKI and an understanding of encryption and digital signature is required.
- Ad-hoc custom web service orchestration Java/Javascript code to resolve incompatibilities in various APIs.
- Active/Passive monitoring of the security and health of the API management platform
| 1. | 24 Months architecture and administration experience of Akana SOA Software Service Manager Suite of products, Community Manager, Network Director, Policy Manager and Lifecycle Manager or similar SOA intermediary middleware products. | |
| 2. | 84 Months architecture and administration experience with any ESB or SOA Intermediary (Examples include DataPower, Message Broker and Perforce's Akana API Management) | |
| 3. | 48 Months Experience in Enterprise Security Architecture including Certificate/PKI management within an SOA implementation | |
| 4. | 84 months programming experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, and/or Microsoft .Net. | |
