Your Role:
As a Systems Application Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind the configuration, programming, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems. Your role is essential to ensuring smart buildings run like clockwork. From creating control system software to customizing front-end graphics, you’ll be hands-on at every stage. Whether you’re commissioning new projects or troubleshooting system issues, you’ll play a key role in shaping state-of-the-art energy management solutions.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
• Program & Customize: Configure, program, and fine-tune Building Automation Systems (BAS) to meet project-specific needs.
• On-Site Expertise: Commission and troubleshoot BAS systems, ensuring they operate smoothly and error-free.
• Graphics Development: Create intuitive front-end graphics that provide clients with clear, real-time system insights.
• System Diagnostics: Perform diagnostics, identify issues, and make recommendations to enhance performance.
• Client Support: Offer technical support, system training, and documentation to end-users and internal teams.
What You’ll Need:
• Field Experience: Hands-on experience implementing Building Automation Systems (BAS) in commercial or light industrial settings (not residential).
• BAS Knowledge: Experience with platforms like Apogee, Tridium Niagara, Desigo, Metasys, or Tracer is essential.
• Problem-solving ability: A track record of solving complex technical problems and driving system performance improvements.
• Industry Savvy: Whether you've worked for a BAS competitor or a smaller firm, your hands-on field experience will make you stand out.
• Tech Skills (Nice to Have): Programming experience and the ability to create client-facing system graphics will set you apart. A degree is a bonus, but experience speaks louder than a diploma here.
Bask in the Benefits:
• $65,000 to $125,000 annual salary
• 401K with a $1-for-$1 match up to 6% (with a Roth option)
• Employee Share Ownership Program (buy company shares at a discount, with a company match)
• Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans
• Performance Bonuses
• Generous PTO and Paid Holidays
• Flexible Work Schedule
• Employee Recognition Awards
• Health & Wellness Programs: Prioritize your well-being while you thrive at work.
