Systems Analyst - Scientific Research Corporation

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Supports features for NGA GIS applications
* Works in a lab environment
* Develops software in an agile environment
* Uses experience with test driven development
* Uses experience with CI/CD tools
* Modifies existing software to increase functionality or reduce bugs
* Develops new software to meet requirements
* Performs test driven development
* Works closely with security team to ensure best practices are implemented
* Works closely with testing team to identify and resolve issues



MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:


* Experience in designing and implementing an enterprise-wide Cloud applications (AWS)
* Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, Powershell, or Bash
* Proficiency in database technologies such as RedHat or MYSQL
* Proficiency in CD/CD
* Experience with Agile
* Proficiency in Java
* Top Secret / SCI level clearance


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:


* BS/BA (or equivalent) and 6 years of experience
* NGA GIS experience
* Experience with AWS
* Great work ethic


SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
