Job Summary:
The Systems Analyst is a critical team member at RHF, providing essential support for RHF projects under the Information Technology Services (ITS) Department. This role involves directly interfacing with end-users, management, and external IT vendors to ensure the smooth operation and support of RHF's software and technology systems. The Systems Analyst is responsible for managing production issues, supporting system administration, and ensuring seamless communication between various stakeholders. This position reports to the Director of Information Systems and works closely with both internal and external resources to manage projects and resolve issues efficiently.
This role also adheres to RHF’s compliance and information security policies, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of systems and data.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to escalated issues from the IT Vendor Helpdesk and perform tasks necessary to resolve problems with RHF systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, telephony, and wireless communication devices, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Communicate status and progress throughout the issue resolution process to end-users and stakeholders, managing expectations effectively.
- Maintain business application setups and perform security-related tasks, including managing user access, onboarding, and termination processes according to RHF policies and procedures.
- Support system configurations for both business applications and new technologies, ensuring compliance with internal IT standards.
- Assist with system audits and reports to ensure security and compliance standards are met consistently across all systems.
- Assist in developing and updating documentation for business applications, system processes, and IT procedures for end-users and internal ITS resources.
- Create and maintain training materials and provide training sessions for end-users to improve the use and understanding of RHF’s technology systems.
- Develop internal documentation for system setups, troubleshooting guides, and best practices to enhance team efficiency and user experience.
- Coordinate and deliver software demonstrations and training for new systems and applications under the ITS Department’s responsibility.
- Perform system analysis activities for assigned projects by working with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Conduct user interviews and gather business requirements for project planning and system implementation.
- Document business requirements and create symbolic diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual tools to support system recommendations and project scope.
- Assist in the deployment of new business applications and technologies, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption.
- Interface with external IT vendors to manage issues, project progress, and resolution efforts.
- Liaise between internal business teams and IT vendors to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the development of vendor agreements and contracts to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Ensure adherence to RHF’s compliance and information security policies by safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality throughout all projects.
- Assist with the preparation of reports for internal audits, ensuring that system security and data privacy measures are upheld.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting computer systems, business applications, and IT systems in an organizational setting.
- Experience in technical documentation, flowcharting, and system analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with experience creating and maintaining dashboards a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and understandable way.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of system and information security, data privacy concepts, and compliance requirements.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a variety of people and situations.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a sense of urgency in resolving issues.
- Education:
- Preferred undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Compensation:
Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required.
The role is considered non-exempt may be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state law. The anticipated base pay range for the position is $33.65 - $43.27 per hour ($70K-$90K).
