Overview
The engineer will be working on web applications and web services that integrate with a variety of Products. The candidate will specialize in ASP.NET and Web Services that increase the value of our products by making the data produced by those products available online and by making our products more valuable to customers with integration of online services.

The engineer will work independently to complete tasks created by our product management and engineering management. The person needs to be able to work independently and also needs to be able to effectively communicate about their work. The engineer should also be able to contribute to the design and improvement to our products in discussions with management.
Do we need a certain background for them?
There are a variety of desirable technical capabilities including ASP.NET, C# as well as web service technologies and WCF technologies. Hunter values four-year degrees and hands on experience.

Job Summary:
Design and develop web-based applications that integrate with Hunter's products using C#, C++ and .NET. The applications will be utilized by Hunter Engineering's customers throughout the world to access information and services. The applications will integrate directly with Hunter Engineering's industry leading automotive service equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Code and test online applications.
Work on integration between C++ desktop applications and Web applications.
Add functionality to existing applications.
Maintain databases used by web applications.
Interface with users to determine and meet project requirements.
Education Level:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
2+ Years of .NET Framework experience
C#, ASP.NET development skills
C++ experience
Visual Studio Experience
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with Ajax techniques as well as jQuery.
Knowledge of SQL language and writing stored procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Strong interest in emerging web technologies
