Performs Application onboarding for new third party and UNFCU developed applications as well as complex upgrades for existing applications to ensure conformance with UNFCU and Industry guidelines for Business and technical requirements as well as maintain high levels of security and availability of Applications. Performs complex analysis on Application Issues upon escalation from lower level support teams and focuses on the ongoing Capacity planning, Maintenance Procedures and overall improvement of the Application Platform to deliver high-quality and cost-effective services to meet both short and long-term business requirements.
This position is expected to be hybrid.
NYC Salary Range - $99,902 - $106,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

- Administer various third party and UNFCU developed applications including but not limited to Digital Banking, DNA Core Banking System and related Application servers, middleware tools such as Mule, DNA Connect, DNA Multipoint etc., by performing regular maintenance in the form of monitoring server side events, applying patches, service packs and other fixes.
- Work closely with IT and business staff to understand existing operations and application management needs.
- Perform upgrades and enhancements to third party systems.
- Perform detailed root cause analysis & troubleshooting of problems reported by end users and lower level support teams and work with third party vendors for resolving production problems.
- Prepare necessary analysis documents on identified problems and follow through the UNFCU Change Management Process to implement solutions.
- Coordinate activities and maintain extensive communication with appropriate IT staff, user system administrators, department managers, UNFCU staff, project teams and third party vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related Engineering field or Management Information Systems and 3-5 years of technical applications administration experience.
- Experience related to supporting/administering banking and financial services applications related to Digital Banking, Core Retail Banking, Credit/Debit Card related systems and Call Center systems preferred but not required
- Proficiency in setting up SSL using internally issued SSL certificates (Enterprise CA) or externally procured SSL certificates for IIS Web servers on Windows servers and Apache Tomcat webserver environment
- Knowledge of database related application maintenance procedures as well as querying SQL and Oracle databases through tools like SQL Server Management Studio or SQL Developer
- General understanding of Web Application vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, Broken Authentication and Session Management, etc., and some familiarity with web application vulnerabilities remediation
Experience working with Microsoft Azure platform management and governance features and tools
