About the Job
We are seeking a Systems Analyst II to join our team and support the migration of the integrated resident information system (IRIS), which includes components like Cerner Millennium, Dentrix, CareTracker, and RLDatix Risk Module, to a new SaaS solution. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimizing this migration while ensuring compliance with standards and fostering collaboration with both clinical and IT stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration efforts of the integrated resident information system (IRIS) to a new SaaS solution, including comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping.
- Design and implement workflows to integrate the new system, ensuring seamless transition and optimal functionality.
- Document all phases of the migration process and engage stakeholders for requirements gathering.
- Ensure design compliance with standards and set up validation and auditing processes to maintain post-migration data integrity.
- Perform rigorous testing of the migration process, including unit test scripts, managing scenarios, analyzing results, and debugging issues.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, use ticketing systems for issue tracking, and deliver presentations explaining migration progress and technical challenges.
- Facilitate a smooth post-migration transition by training end-users, preparing comprehensive documentation, and recommending strategies for performance optimization.
- 7+ years of experience with database management systems and data migration, particularly in healthcare EHR systems.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database scripting, along with proficiency in tools like Excel, Word, and Visio.
- Strong background in business analysis, process flow documentation, and standardizing improvements through stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to prepare specifications for data input/output processes and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to create clear documentation and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Solid interpersonal skills to support and lead diverse teams in a collaborative environment.
- In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends, architectural principles, and infrastructure tools.
- Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
- Understanding of software technology, architecture components, and healthcare data security compliance.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $65 - $75/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
