Systems Administrator - Windows Server - (Hybrid) Needed - Quality Support Services

Payrate: $41.53 - 54.63/hr plus.

Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

MUST PASS A 90 DAY DRUG TEST AND A 10 YEAR BACKGROUND CHECK.

POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 Years with bachelors.
• 4 Years with Masters Equivalency.
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience.
• Master's Degree and 4 years of experience
• . 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor's degree.
• 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor's degree.
• A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experienced Senior, Windows Server Administrator, with experience in Windows Server 2022 and later. Responsible for administration, support and optimization of the Windows Server Operating based systems in virtualized and non-virtualized environments. Candidate should have strong trouble shooting and scripting skills, as well as VMWare knowledge.

• Must be detailed orientated and able to work in a fast paced, virtual team environment with general supervision.
• Understand and exhibit a strong team concept approach.
• Individual must provide timely and effective customer support in a professional, responsive manner.
• Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills, while being self-motivated, and a willingness to learn.
• Responding to trouble and support tickets in a timely manner to meet published SLAs, monitor systems for errors and system performance.
• Creating, maintaining, and following formal processes.
• Have an understanding of SOX controls to support financial systems.

LEVELING FACTORS:

• Experience supporting Windows Servers in an ESX virtual environment and on Physical hardware;
• Powershell or other scripting languages is a must.
• Effective problem-solving and attention to details.
• Works well under pressure, while multi-tasking

Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

IMPACT:
