About the Job
Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Systems Administrator (Research) on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Responsibilities:- Supports a Tier 2/Tier 3 desktop services support team providing:
- On-call desktop software and on-call support for a broad user base
- End user device support for workstations, monitors, client devices, voice devices, printers, scanners, plotters and personal IT devices
- Desktop image management
- Home directory and profile support services
- Operations services for directory, authentication and user account management
- DNS/DHCP domain services
- Patch management support for windows devices across multiple networks
- Performs advanced software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
- Develops technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
Degree and Years of Experience:
- Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
- 5+ years of related experience
Required Certifications:
- Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire
Required Skills:
- Works seamlessly in a team environment
- Experience using Service+
- Software Deployment and Network Patching
- Scripting experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting Windows & Linux environments
