Role: Systems Administrator
Type: Full Time
Location: Randall’s Island, New York, United States. It’s an on-site role.
Salary: $110-120K base
What part will you play?
The System Administrator will be working at our client’s location and serve as the key point of contact for maintaining the server environment. The administrator will be responsible for the coordination of any technology issues, incidents, requests and questions related to systems currently utilized. They will be able to diagnose and resolve problems as well as communicate with other teams as needed regarding issues of escalation.
What will you be doing?
- Maintain all Windows Servers and Systems
- Some experience on networking is preferred
- Work alongside other teams as needed to maintain all systems
- Troubleshoot issues and outages related to in-house systems
- Work on projects to implement new systems
- Manage patching of all Servers and stay on schedule with all patching cycles.
- Develops and maintains documentation for systems utilized and/or supported by the support team
- Provides After-hours support for any system outages or work that cannot be performed during business hours.

- Extensive technical knowledge across Windows Servers
- Proven ability to build credibility and strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor who understands business needs and can balance with organizational strategy
- Seasoned professional able to work calmly under pressure and/or challenging conditions
- Able to discreetly manage highly confidential and sensitive company information and personal information
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent crisis management skills
