About the Job
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration of endpoint devices and systems using multiple endpoint and device management tools. The position deploys and manages standardized configurations and policies, applies patches and software upgrades, as well as provides level three support. Flexible Work Schedule is available.
Essential Functions
- Manages, supports and maintains servers and endpoint tools that allow for automated deployment of operating systems, patches, updates, applications, drivers, and security items to endpoints, servers, and systems
- Builds, installs, configures, analyzes, tunes, and troubleshoots operating systems to achieve optimum performance levels
- Configures and assists in the design of system and network security
- Create and deploy standardized application packages
- Documents systems infrastructure for users, support and consulting personnel, and developers
- Compares, evaluates, and implements new technologies, and integrates systems into the computing environment
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Additional Functions / Information
- Collaborates with other IT engineering and extended IT support teams on specific projects and support issues
- Works with AD administrators to create, test and deploy configurations using GPO
- Assist application developers with system design, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Provides technical support for systems users
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2 years of related experience in a Systems Administrator role including the following:
- Experience in the design and operation of networked systems
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / SCCM
- Experience with Windows Active Directory
- Experience with current Windows Enterprise operating systems
- Experience with remote monitoring and troubleshooting issues

Skills Required
- Mastery of Microsoft endpoint management toolsets
- Proficiency in PowerShell
- Ability to troubleshoot in a complex systems environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
Preferences
- Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Desktop Analytics
- Experience with Integrated Out of Band Management tools and remote support technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, and AWS platforms and systems
- Implementation of security controls and zero-trust practices in client endpoints and supporting infrastructure

- Ability to create and troubleshoot complex application packages and deployment task sequences
