Position Summary
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team. The Systems Administrator supports the Helpdesk and Deskside Support Teams as a Tier 3 escalation point and management of the Microsoft 365 environment and support of on-prem servers. Some projects or products may also be assigned by the Infrastructure team to assist with various projects as we grow the environment. We will be adding the Systems Administrator to our existing system admin team to support the many tasks and projects we take on. The Systems Administrator must be able to learn on the fly and have the ability to work in a high growth, dynamic working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Must have working knowledge in Active Directory and Group Policy
- Good understanding of DNS principles, DHCP, printing services
- Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 required
- Experience with Linux preferred
- Knowledge of how email services work like Office 365/Exchange
- Experience with Hypervisors like Hyper-V and VMware
- Knowledge of VPNs
- Basic knowledge of networking principles like VLANs, routing, IPSec VPN
- Understanding of NTFS
- Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven ability to offer high level systems support in an enterprise environment
- Proven ability to maintain a clean and professional IT environment
- Proven ability to relate well in a constructive manner to management and staff
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree desired
- MCSA, CCNA Certification desired
- 2 - 4 years of IT experience with focus on network/system administration
