We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Systems Administrator to join our thriving manufacturing industry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving our Salesforce platform, as well as other systems and software. Responsibilities:
As a Systems Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and maintaining our Salesforce platform, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, providing technical support to internal teams as needed.
3. Developing and implementing system improvements and upgrades to enhance functionality and user experience.
4. Ensuring system security by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
5. Collaborating with various teams to understand their needs and translate them into system solutions.
6. Conducting regular system audits to ensure seamless operation and identify potential issues.
7. Training staff on system use and creating user-friendly documentation to facilitate system understanding and efficiency.
8. Coordinating with external vendors and consultants as needed.
9. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in systems administration.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Systems Administrator role should have the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a systems administrator role, preferably in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
3. Extensive experience with Salesforce administration, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
4. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in various programming languages and databases.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential system issues before they become problems.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Salesforce Admin certification is a plus.
