Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and software systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in a variety of systems.
• Implement and maintain security policies and protocols to safeguard company assets.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support IT projects and deployments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and systems.
• Provide end-user support and training as needed.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or tools to optimize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Solid understanding of security principles and tools (firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection systems).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
• Experience with ITSM tools and processes.
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, PostgreSQL).
