Responsibilities
- Adept Knowledge can run/maintain/operate with little to no supervision the responsibilities listed below:
- Operate current and future high technology peripheral devices such as self-loading tape drives, automated cartridge systems, high-speed impact and laser printers, industrial folder/sorters, and video display terminals (Controllers) associated with keyboards
- Maintain print logs and statistics using designated software
- Monitor print and mail accounts; coordinate activities with presort vendors
- Convert outdated media processes to advance automated processes (Microfiche to Electronic viewing or Electronic Delivery of media
- Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and operational handbooks
- Document all incidents. The Contractor shall follow up with customer engineers and technical support personnel. Record incidents in problem reporting system. Inform appropriate personnel of problems
- The Contractor shall summarize all incidents in a Monthly Incident Report
- Meet established VA and/or ITOPS IO safety standards
- Monthly Reports creation/maintaining and tracking
- Training, Leadership Responsibilities, Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Counseling Statements
- Creating/Maintaining/Scheduling Training for PEO contractors - ensuring training benchmarks are met, maintaining all Training and Counseling records - Shift Turnover Reports are created and maintained
- Tracking (Hines Output Tracker, AIMs Logs, Print Images, Inventory Burn, Job Forecast, Job Tracking, Job Input, Inventory Levels Accuracy & Maintained, RONA Log, Mail Piece Counts, Maintenance Logs, Training Logs, HR Logs, Vacation/Sick Leave Logs, Shipment Logs, Vendor Point of Contact Logs)
- Supply Research GSA Standards - Ordering Supplies & Equipment as needed for PEO
- Request for Names and Addresses Process
- Shipping Vendor Processes & Bulk Mail process
- Outgoing/Outbound Mail Preparation
- Peripheral equipment Troubleshooting/Resolution, day to day operation & Maintenance
- Job Scheduling/Monitoring and accuracy (Review output samples)
- General PEO Housekeeping - Ensure area is clean and picked up, machines and equipment are maintained and serviced, maintain a clean and orderly environment, receptacles are emptied at the end of every day
- Presort Software and Equipment
- NearStar & Print and Mail Output Sample
- Postage Meter Equipment and Software
- Incoming & Outgoing Mail Room Process & Upkeep
- VBA Partner Engagement, Communication, Scheduling
Qualifications
- Ability to Create & Maintain standard Operating Procedures & Guidelines for all Day to Day tasks
- Have Software Knowledge - FreeFlow, LEAF Requests, Snow Tickets, Microsoft Products (Excel, outlook, SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerPoint, Access, and any other that we use now or that are adopted in the future)
- Ability to Identify, analyze, and resolve processing situations. The Contractor shall coordinate with appropriate technical support personnel
- Ability to Identify and analyze hardware problems and initiate corrective action.
- Ability to monitor production workloads and prioritize tasks to ensure processing schedules are met
- Ability to maintain support against t ITOPS IO quality standards.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
