Systems Engineer
100% Remote - must be within 30 miles of a hub location
Contract through 1/25 - will extend beyond and would love to eventually hire FTE
$50/hour W2
Team provides technical and product ownership to legal, compliance and privacy enterprise technology application. This systems engineer like position could include responsibilities including but not limited to: Monitors and trouble shoot application issues to identify, diagnoses, enter tickets, escalate, and resolve issues. Perform software upgrades, configuration, and testing. Creating and maintaining technical documentation. Assisting users with application questions or research. Performing data reconciliation. Interacting with external vendors, stakeholders, users, and other technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience in a technical environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Able to communicate processes and results with all parties including engineers, product owner, project manager, stakeholders, management, third party vendors and users
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication to all levels of the organization
- Strong research and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to provide clear instructions to partners, explaining how the software works to the customer and being available to answer any questions that may arise.
- Using analysis and critical thinking skills to determine and assess the needs of the customer to meet or exceed their expectation.
- Demonstrated analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Self-reliance while meeting quality standards and guidelines;
- Ability to learn quickly and work under timelines with strong time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
- Keen attention to detail and organization to work on numerous parts of a system or application at the same time while being accurate and thorough.
- An Agile mindset with a drive toward delivering value through continuous improvements aligned to business needs
- Proficiency in SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and other Microsoft 0365 applications.
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Familiarly with M365 and Exchange – Need
- APP Dev- Postman, REST APIs – priority
- Working APIs and integrations - priority
- Ability to speak to App Developers - Priority
- Familiarity with .NET – not specific to .NET, coding familiarity
- Tech writer skills- experience documenting configurations/processes
- Debug skills- looking at log files
- Experience with Manage File Transfer/Batch process/AD Sync
- PowerBI- create dashboards
- Familiarity with Messaging Archiving
- Technical PM skills
