Minimum Required Skills/Experience:
Role Description: The Software System Engineer will be responsible for leading all aspects of the fraud detection system development. Key activities include establishing overall system infrastructure, maintaining system software, building system components, planning for system upgrades and application deployment, documenting system details, and overseeing system activities.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in designing and developing software systems
- 3+ years of hands-on experience on using system software including operating systems (Linux/Windows), databases (Oracle/Hive), and monitor systems (Splunk).
- Strong experience in developing SDLC documentation required
- Solid understanding on software development methodologies including principles and best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into an effective and efficient system design
- Experience in business intelligence and data analytics systems
- Experience in using software APIs as well as defining new APIs to maximize component reusability and connection efficiency
- Experience in Agile development approach and leading a team of junior engineers
- Experience in using EC2 and RDS instances in AWS cloud
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to plan and prioritize work, both their own and that of project team. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
