Job Description:

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and design of sophisticated software systems, coordinating complex projects, and crafting secure, effective solutions tailored to our customer's specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design and implementation of solutions based on Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
- Engineer and oversee system solutions that are both strategic and tailored to meet customer specifications.
- Implement and manage robust disaster recovery solutions to ensure continuous protection and system integrity.
- Develop and manage remote access solutions, supporting secure and efficient operations.
- Engage in detailed system documentation and offer consultancy services that include system reviews and proactive recommendations.
- Maintain clear, effective communication with customers, ensuring they are well informed of incident progress, system changes, and planned outages.
- Provide support for basic network configurations and storage solutions related to VMware/Hyper-V environments without focusing on broader network management tasks.
- Document product usage and maintain records to track the deployment of technologies across customer environments.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and perception through exceptional service and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively within team settings to meet and exceed project goals.
- Handle escalations promptly, ensuring solutions are achieved within agreed service levels.
- Remain deeply connected to business needs, aligning IT strategies and operations with broader business goals.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements, maintaining a cutting-edge understanding of industry standards.
Licensing and Compliance Requirements:
This role requires active participation in obtaining a NC Alarm System License Registrant. This licensure is essential for any team member involved in the installation, maintenance, or remote access to Camera Systems, Alarm Systems, or Access Control Systems. Management of the licensure process will be overseen by our NC Alarm System License Licensee to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Understanding of VMware/Hyper-V virtual network configurations and storage solutions is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adept in communication and active listening, committed to outstanding customer care.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues swiftly and efficiently.
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to dynamic environments with ease. Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Information Technology: 5 years (Preferred)
Professional Certifications:
- Required: Associate-level certifications from (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, Veeam VMCE, and HPE ASE).
- Preferred: Advanced/Professional level certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, and VMWare VCTA are advantageous for higher-level responsibilities.

Schedule:
- Full-time, 8 Hour Shift, Monday to Friday
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
