Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science; engineering; mathematics; management information systems; or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant computer science topics
- 7+ years of related, proven experience designing, evolving, and maintaining complex system architectures comprising dozens of configuration items
- 3+ years of related, proven experience designing, evolving, and maintaining multi-tenant data center architectures
- 5+ years of related, proven experience conducting technical trade studies, analyses of alternatives, and formal assessments of current and emerging technologies
- Experience designing software systems to realize system-level requirements while accounting for cost and schedule constraints
- Proven experience in the development/improvement of new and existing products, solutions, and processes
- Experience with system-level architectural design of software, hardware, and networked systems
- Experience working government programs with controlled engineering baselines
- Intermediate level knowledge of cybersecurity, including common risks to IT systems and of enterprise IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage)
- Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies
- Familiarity with cyber range tools, including deployment automation, configuration automation, monitoring, and traffic generation
- Effective communication skills; ability to accurately convey project status, identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and to express technical ideas to senior decision makers
- Master’s degree in computer science; computer and information sciences, engineering, mathematics, management information systems, cybersecurity, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant computer science topics
- 12+ years of related, proven experience designing, evolving, and maintaining complex system architectures comprising dozens of configuration items
- 6+ years of related, proven experience designing, evolving, and maintaining multi-tenant data center architectures
- 8+ years of related, proven experience conducting technical trade studies, analyses of alternatives, and formal assessments of current and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks
- Knowledge of storage area network (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) technologies and alternative solutions
- Knowledge of complex enterprise infrastructures comprised of varied operating systems and services such as AD, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, VPN, email, databases, IIS, Apache, etc.
- Knowledge of cyber warfare and cyber training capabilities and tools
- Knowledge of software and network instrumentation and visualization tools
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language model technologies
- Experience with the design of multiple levels of security (MLS) systems
- Manages system requirements and converts them into cohesive solutions accounting for the design, technology maturity, cost, and schedule constraints of the system
- Participates in the planning, direction and coordination of all program system engineering and architectural efforts
- Maintain program’s system architecture artifacts and develops architecture models for current and future system development
- Maintain and expand knowledge of current and developing technologies, design and analysis methodologies, and develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development
- Supports the program’s strategic roadmap for future technology investigations and capability assessments, advising the government about new technologies, trade studies, analysis of alternatives, and technology assessments
- Advise management and customer on operations and research studies and applications, technology assessments, schedule, and budget requirements
- Support critical system design decisions and reviews
- Provide input on design improvements to cyber tools software or hardware for the enterprise
