System - Application Engineer - Ethernet - Steinman Recruiting Associates

We seek a customer driven engineer to guide the transition from analog and fieldbus signaling, to integrated industrial ethernet solutions. You will stay current on emerging technologies, working on next generation concepts to gauge both technical viability and test market acceptance. You will use your knowledge to develop demos and reference designs.

Skills and experience that will get our attention:

* Ethernet hardware systems development, prototyping, and validation.

* Come up with a design, make a wrapper, put it on an FPGA and validate performance.

* Knowledge of high-speed digital design, microcontrollers, DDR memories, I/O, ADC, DAC

* The evaluation, debug and test of hardware and embedded software systems.

* A knowledge of ethernet communication protocols.

Title: System - Application Engineers (senior to principal level)

Location: Boston, MA. Hybrid - two to three days weekly onsite. Generous relocation package.

Compensation: The base salary is open, though we anticipate to ~$190,000 depending on experience level. Lucrative bonuses. RSUs. Comprehensive benefits.

Travel: ~20% domestic and international.
