We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team. The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's computer systems, servers, and networks. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of network and system administration principles, as well as experience working with Windows and iOS operating systems. This role reports to the VP of IT. The System Administrator will provide technical support, analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, provide training, and help manage and maintain a broad array of IT systems for a hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environment. The System Administrator will be part of the team at the forefront of architecting and driving major technological transformations within the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and troubleshoot servers, networks, and computer systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, patching, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and ensure that systems are running smoothly.
- Respond to system alerts and outages and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Maintain system security by implementing and enforcing appropriate security policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot a wide range of devices ranging from Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for various technologies and users.
- Provide training to various departments on new technologies and procedures.
- Provide in person, phone and or remote support for inbound & outbound support calls.
- Assist in design and implementation of infrastructure solutions to meet business needs and technical objectives.
- Maintain, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 users in the admin dashboard.
- Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to ensure that systems are integrated properly and meet application requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to meet the company's needs.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Manage system licenses and ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
- Suggest new IT policies and processes to reduce inefficiencies in the organization.
- Provide accurate and timely solutions to user problems.
- Identify problems in the environment and escalate them as needed to the proper technician and ticketing system.
- Notice trends, diagnose root cause and recommend long term solutions to recurring problems.
- Report and respond to SOC notifications as they occur.
- Support other IT members on projects as assigned to the IT Team.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting Window, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting Servers, switches, access points, and network configurations.
- Knowledge of managing Office 365 Admin portal including retention policies, defender, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity fundamental concepts and their application.
- Knowledge of managing an RMM and ticketing systems.
- Minimum 5 8 years of experience supporting Window, MAC, iOS, Android.
- Minimum 5 8 years working with end users and support.
- Minimum 4 6 years of experience managing Microsoft Office 365 admin dashboards.
- Experience in troubleshooting the current versions of Microsoft Office Desktop Applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience working in an IT support environment.
- Experience working with end users at all levels.
- AA degree or technical degree.
- Strong communication skills; writing skills; documentation; professional demeanor.
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
- Good people skills; shows initiative and ownership, well organized; infuses trust.
DESIRED CAPABILITIES
- Experience in supporting NetSuite .
- Knowledge and experience with Manage Engine Ticketing system.
- Knowledge and experience with N-Central / N-Able RMM
- Knowledge of managing Azure and Azure applications.
- Knowledge relating to Cyber security stacks and frameworks.
