About the Job
TS/SCI w FSP REQUIRED
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expert knowledge and experience in current Windows client server to include OS configuration, file sharing, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with administration of various Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu). Provide desktop support across the Org and managed Enclaves
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization
- Coordinate, deliver, install, and maintain end user devices (EUDs) hardware and software.
- Implement ongoing system security compliance measures to include patches and system updates.
- Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience and its implementation using VMware vSphere (vCenter/ESXi) and Horizon View (VDI Desktops).
- Experience working in an Enclave environment
- Expert knowledge and experience managing NetApp (NFS, CFIS) and Dell EqualLogic (ISCSI).
- Work with ticketing systems
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Recent System Administration experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience working in an Enclave Environment
- Experience performing system analyzes and planning
- Intermediate experience with PowerShell scripting and programming.
- Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support
- Solid Knowledge of and current experience with Azure and VDI
- Practical experience in implementing and maintaining thin-client workstations and virtualization (VDI Desktops).
- Practical experience in implementing and maintaining virtualization (VDI Desktops).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have one of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DD 8570) requirement for this position: Security, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED.
- Required Education & Experience: High School/GED (12) years of relevant experience. AD (10) years of relevant experience. BA/BD (6) years of relevant experience. Master's degree (4) years of relevant experience, or PHD (2) years of relevant experience.
Position requires a TS/SCI.
