About the Role:
Job Summary
Serves the organization, patients, and other customers by providing a wide range of computer related technical services. As a senior member of the Technical Services Team, the job is responsible for assisting with the definition, development, architecture and implementation of solutions which support NGHS to better document, visualize and understand the products/services that ITS supports. This position will also support the development of project documentation including high-level requirements and high-level solution design. This position will also assist the System Administrator Manager in developing a Target State Roadmap, which will lay out enterprise system architecture execution priorities over a defined time period. Assist in evaluating applications/systems targeted for modernization to determine whether they should be upgraded or replaced and recommend a disposition for each application/system. Also, assists in developing hardware and software standards, This position is directly responsible for the Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations of the Cloud Environment, VMWare environment as well as the Storage Area Network Environment. Advance technical knowledge of Cloud technologies, VMWare and Storage Area Network Technologies is required. Extensive Knowledge of Backup of systems utilizing disk to disk deduplication, and replication technologies is a must. Builds/tests/executes disaster recovery plans for highly available applications. Project management experience is desired.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Licensure or other certifications: At least one (1) active certification in one of the following required: Microsoft Certification in Windows Server Technologies - MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) VMWare Certification, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services Cloud Certification, or Epic Certification.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of experience providing advanced technical support for server environments required. With at least five (5) of the seven (7) years supporting virtualization technologies and/or building applications in a multi-user environment i.e. (Cloud, VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V).

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Documents procedures for technical support processes to ensure consistent processes are applied throughout the technical team.
Coordinates appropriate internal and external resources to deliver high quality technical service delivery, minimizing risks to technical infrastructure and patient care.
Assists application teams with system selection processes, performs systems analysis, utilizes vendor specifications to support new applications and the maintenance of existing infrastructure supporting clinical and business systems.
Utilizes exemplary communication skills between team members, customers, and other employees to ensure clear, concise and professional communication.
Directly Responsible for the maintenance and resource planning for Cloud, Virtualization, and Storage Area Networks.
Active Directory (Cloud and On Prem) support and troubleshooting including management of group policies.
Builds/Tests/Executes disaster recovery plans to maintain highly available systems.
Advanced knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Powershell.
Partners with Network Engineering team to develop efficient solutions to solve complex technical problems in support of a 24X7 environment.
Participate in the evaluation, deployment and management of all new technologies in alignment with ITS goals and to deliver high quality technical service delivery, minimizing risks to technical infrastructure and patient care. Provide feedback to management.
Demonstrates fiscal responsibility and accountability by providing operational and capital costs during budget cycle to technical leadership.
Create and maintain documentation: Logical/physical diagrams, run books, discovery documents, QA documents, Capacity and resource planning documents, and build documents to provide a consistent and repeatable process for System Administrator I and System Administrator II.
Virtualization, Storage technologies, Disaster Recovery Technologies, Encryption.
Management and reporting proficiency in following technologies: Cloud, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Disaster Recovery, Backup.
Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, FTP.
Demonstrates the ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively.
Support and Maintainence of Cloud Environments environments such as AWS, Azure, M365.
Maintain Windows/Linux Operating Systems in accordance to best practices, performs regular maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting including end user support.
Assist with training of System Administrator I and System Administrator II staff as required.
Participates in Triage and after hours On Call Rotation
