Job Description
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) Information Technology (IT) team is looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join its IT Platform Infrastructure (ITPI) team. The new team member will have the opportunity to provide leadership in the design, implement, secure, and support of a diverse assortment of IT equipment including switches, servers, clients, firewalls, storage, and backup systems. As deployed systems grow and mature, you will have opportunities to lean the research and recommendation of new technologies which will be implemented to add functionality, increase capacity, and improve performance.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT) or Enterprise-wide system and/or applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, teaming, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Previous experience with one or more of networking, servers, clients, firewalls, storage, backups, etc.
- Experience with operational technology and industrial control system concepts.
- Experience in one or more technologies, protocols, services, or operating systems including Windows, Active Directory, VMware, PowerShell, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, VLANs, VRF, ACLs, etc.
- Experience with Vulnerability management, patching, and scanning.

Pay Range

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations.
