Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Swine Account Executive to join our team and support our growing swine division. This individual will be responsible for managing relationships with key accounts, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service within the swine industry. The Swine Account Executive will focus on delivering tailored nutritional solutions, educating clients, and expanding market share while maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of swine-related accounts, focusing on client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand sales within the swine industry by identifying new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, and distribution partners.
- Work closely with the Swine Territory Representative to ensure the seamless execution of sales plans and customer support.
- Provide clients with tailored feed and nutritional solutions, educating them on the benefits and best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits and consultations to ensure customer needs are met and identify potential areas for product or service improvement.
- Stay current on swine industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to better serve clients and stay ahead of the competition.
- Participate in swine industry events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities to build brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and ensure all client issues are promptly addressed.
- Track sales performance, generate reports, and provide feedback to the VP of Sales and Marketing regarding market trends and client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the swine industry, with a proven track record in sales or account management.
- In-depth knowledge of swine production systems, nutrition, and feed management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within Iowa and surrounding regions as needed.
