The Vice President/SVP of Channel Engagement Director leads a fully integrated team over a significant portion of a large, high profile accounts to meet or exceed business and client expectations including revenue, profit, margin, and staffing. This person oversees management of all media strategy/planning, accountable for leading the relationship with the client divisions including overall corridor satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time and within budget. The Channel Engagement Director has top level Client contact, playing a leading role in new business and may be involved in policy making decisions and act as a consultant to other top corporate officers.
Directors with SVP/VP titles are tasked with elevated responsibilities and expectations to engage in more complex assignments/clients, as well as be subject matter experts for those who need and desire development.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Creates media plans that are strategic with sound execution
- Places our clients on the leading edge of media change, setting quality standards for the department and enforcing adherence
- Magnifies the buying power of every dollar we spend
- Establishes and sets priorities to allow the group to focus on what counts
- Counsels team and clients on negotiation process; lead negotiations, as appropriate
- Fosters excellent ratings in client evaluations and is accountable for maintaining relationships with client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time, and on budget
- Contribute to developing vision for the department and ensure that vision is communicated to department and agency management
- Integrate concepts seamlessly with creative product and clients’ marketing plans
- Review all plans to ensure achievement of quality and flawless execution
- Ensure collaboration of planning, buying and research
- Encourage an exchange of the best ideas within the department
- Contribute to new business efforts; lead pitches, as requested
- Maintain on-going contact with senior clients, lending credibility and endorsement to major presentations
- Lead and inspire; act as a role model; serve as a source of experience, knowledge, instruction and direction
- Routinely serve up business-building ideas to clients
- Manage administrative functions to increase agency profitability
- Develop and mine relationships to bring new business to the agency
Qualifications:
- Must be an industry leader with broad years of media experience
- Must have extensive technical knowledge marketing, media planning, buying and research
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster optimal relationships
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and be detail oriented
- Must have a desire and experience leading and building teams
