Project Surveyor/Manager - ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys - Nashville, TN - JOB 24-00253

Salary Range: $90K - $130K+ Permanent Position with Benefits.

An Engineering Consulting Firm is seeking to hire a Project Surveyor / Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science or Associates of Science in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent degree desired.
• Registered Surveyor (PS) is required.
• Experience with RTK GPS, Robotics total station, laser scanner, Trimble Access Data Collectors and Trimble Business Center.
• Must have experience working on ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Will be responsible for directly interacting with clientele.
• Prefer someone with a 7 to 10 years of surveying experience.
• Candidates must have above average communications skills, be highly organized and strong time management skills.
• Familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D (3-D), Carlson Survey and MS Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule survey work and prepare for field work.
• Develop scope of work and fee estimates.
• Administer all surveying projects.
• Develop survey legal descriptions and plats/exhibits for boundary surveys, subdivision, or easements.
• Prepare computations for construction layout and subdivisions.
• Calculate roadway right-of-way and property lines.
• QA/QC field data, import, analyze and adjust survey field data.
• Develop budgets and proposals for clients.
• Prepare project budgets and schedules to the team.
• Courthouse records research.
