Duties, Responsibilities & Other:- Applicant needs to have a minimum of two years survey drafting experience utilizing Civil 3D and/or MicroStation software. Carlson Survey experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience working in one software must be willing to learn the other software along with additional survey technician software programs.
- Daily working CAD drafting skills are required; knowledge regarding land surveying; ability to analyze field data, utilize 3D data; ability to work with a team to take field data and produce CAD files and maps is a must.
- Applicants should be proficient in generating digital terrain models (DTM’s), creating break lines and contours.
- Applicants should be able to perform land record research (deeds and plats) and be able to plot deeds and plats in a CADD environment.
- Must have the ability to take directions and create quality CAD products including topographic maps, boundary maps, and ALTA/NSPS land title maps.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience.
