What You’ll Do:
As a key member of the surgical team, you’ll:
Prepare and organize sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
Assist the surgical team during operations by providing instruments and maintaining an organized sterile field.
Ensure patient safety by participating in “Time Out” protocols and adhering to strict sterilization and compliance guidelines.
Monitor patients’ needs across all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, ensuring top-quality care.
Help with post-procedure cleanup and preparation for the next patient, maintaining efficiency and cleanliness in the operating room.
Stay current with the latest surgical practices and techniques through ongoing training and competency development.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
Diploma/Certificate or Associate Degree in Surgical Technology
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
Current BLS certification (with ACLS & PALS certifications within six months of hire)
Preferred:
GI Scope Certification
Certified Registered Central Service Technician
