SITE. FTE: 0.500000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: As a member of the
healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for
patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission
of the hospital is carried out. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1
year as a Surgical Technologist experience is required (The one year may
include a combination of Surgical Technician experience or Surgical
Extern experience. Please note, one year or more of surgical extern work
will be credited as up to 6 months experience for the one year of
Technologist experience). EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School Diploma or
equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or
diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program,
completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert
Health sponsored apprentice II program required. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist. Surgical Technologist Level 3
staff, or above, with a date of hire or adjusted date of hire prior to
8/1/2020 are not required to be certified, as long as they meet the
criteria in the job description. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic
Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved
