Our client in Queens, NY is looking to add a full time Physician Assistant to join their surgical team. Candidates will work among a team of providers to treat orthopedic, general, neurosurgical and urology patients. The PA will assist in surgery, treat patients on the floor and in office. Interested? Responsibilities:

Full-time permanent position
Monday-Friday schedule, day shifts only
Assist in surgery, perform consults, follow-ups and post-ops in the hospital
Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:

New York State License
Knowledge of surgical specialties, treatments and terminology
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
