Role Overview:
As a Surety & Fidelity Associate Attorney, you will represent clients in matters involving surety bonds, fidelity bonds, and construction-related claims. This role will involve a mix of litigation, advisory work, and strategic legal counseling in the Surety & Fidelity practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate a wide range of Surety & Fidelity matters, including indemnity disputes, bond enforcement, and commercial surety claims.
- Provide counsel to sureties, contractors, and other entities in the construction and commercial sectors.
- Handle both transactional and contentious aspects of surety and fidelity work, including risk management, claim analysis, and bond-related documentation.
- Represent clients in court, settlement negotiations, and arbitration when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Surety & Fidelity law.
- Active Tennessee law license.
- Strong litigation experience, particularly in smaller dealer bonds.
- Proven ability to manage cases independently and deliver favorable outcomes for clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work closely with clients and opposing counsel.
