Position Overview:

As the Surety Bonds Account Manager & Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a book of business consisting of Surety Bond accounts and supervising a team of account managers. This role combines hands-on account management with team leadership responsibilities, ensuring the team meets and exceeds productivity, quality, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account Management:
• Manage a portfolio of Surety Bond accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Provide expert advice and solutions to clients regarding their Surety Bond needs.
• Ensure timely issuance, renewal, and maintenance of Surety Bonds.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise the national surety bond account management team, providing performance feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
• Monitor team performance metrics, ensuring productivity and service standards are consistently met.
• Conduct performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions, and implement team development plans.
• Promote collaboration and a high-performance culture within the team.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6+ years of insurance industry experience with extensive knowledge of Surety Bonds.
• At least 4+ years of management experience, including performance monitoring and team development.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team to achieve goals.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant insurance software and tools.
