Job Description
Are you ready to join a fast-paced, cutting-edge team in the world of biometric systems? We are seeking a skilled Support Technician Sr to join our 24/7 Biometric Systems Hosted Services Support Center. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of mission-critical biometric systems, providing top-tier support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
As a key contributor, you’ll troubleshoot technical issues, perform system maintenance, and support deployments across Windows, Linux, printers, and scanners. If you’re a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for technology, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities:-
Customer & Biometric Support
- Respond to and log customer and biometric personnel support calls.
- Provide troubleshooting and advisory support, escalating issues as needed.
- Update case statuses and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
Technical Support
- Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance for computer systems and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues for desktop/laptop systems.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Develop documentation, SOPs, and customer service guidelines related to biometric systems.
Data Center Monitoring
- Conduct daily monitoring and checks, logging and addressing issues proactively.
- Assist in troubleshooting data center operations.
Collaboration
- Work with internal teams, including engineers, support staff, sales, and administrative groups.
Required Skills:-
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux OS troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with communication protocols: FTP, SFTP, SMTP, and web services
- Basic SQL knowledge for database interactions.
- Experience with printers, scanners, and peripheral hardware troubleshooting.
Problem-Solving & Analysis
- Proven ability to diagnose IT system and transactional issues.
- Experience in identifying and addressing network problems.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and team interaction.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with KubernetesAzure, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) tools.
Work Environment:-
Shifts
- Rotating shifts every 3 months:
- Day
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Swing
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Graveyard
- 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule
- Workweeks: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
Support Center
- Operates 24/7, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
