Job DescriptionJob Summary
- The support mechanic performs repairs and maintenance on various equipment and facilities throughout the organization.
Education/Experience
- Vocational / Technical Degree or Apprenticeship and 4 subsequent years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 6 years’ relevant experience (Required).
- 2 year / Associate's Degree (Preferred)
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, critical thinking and good problem solving skills
Physical Requirements and Physical Demands
- Adequate hearing to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. Hears alarms/telephone/tape recorder/normal speaking voice.
- Must be able to accurately document pertinent information either by writing or typing.
- *Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
- *Must be able to distinguish colors.
- *Must be able to perform repetitive tasks/motion.
