Job Summary

• The support mechanic performs repairs and maintenance on various equipment and facilities throughout the organization.

Education/Experience

• Vocational / Technical Degree or Apprenticeship and 4 subsequent years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 6 years’ relevant experience (Required).
• 2 year / Associate's Degree (Preferred)

Skills

• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, critical thinking and good problem solving skills

Physical Requirements and Physical Demands

• Adequate hearing to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. Hears alarms/telephone/tape recorder/normal speaking voice.
• Must be able to accurately document pertinent information either by writing or typing.
• *Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
• *Must be able to distinguish colors.
• *Must be able to perform repetitive tasks/motion.
