Support Engineer III from INSPYR Solutions

Title: Electronics Technician/ Support Engineer 
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 9 months + extensions
Compensation: $29.00- $33.00/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience:
Electronics Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for building electronic kits, performing PCBA modifications, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing at a workstation. Daily tasks include reworking PCBAs with hand soldering, reading schematics, and using electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and power supplies. Documentation of non-conformances, tasks completed, and efficient communication with engineers are essential for maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing within the aerospace industry
• Current or recently expired certification in IPC soldering standards, including 7711/7721, J-STD, and J-STD Space applications
• Proficiency in PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and schematic reading
• Familiarity with common electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
• Experience supporting the development of space-based systems
• Background in aerospace manufacturing
• Strong communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with engineers
• Degree or certification in a related field is preferred
