Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity? Serco is seeking a full-time Supply Room Clerk in Panama City, FL to work on NSWC PCD in support of Navy programs with Junior Supply Room inventory management, receiving and distribution of equipment/materials, and properly documenting incoming and outgoing materials/equipment.
Serco’s Panama City office supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) as a as a Prime and Subcontractor on several contracts which support research and development, logistics, sustainment, and testing. Our team supports the full life cycle of Navy research and development projects, from design through Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP).
You will be part of a 15-20-member team that works closely with our customers to deliver unparalleled support. The team has been recognized by multiple Navy customers for their outstanding support and contributions to the success of various projects.
In this role, you will:
- Follow Navy guidelines to populate request forms for required Unique Material Master (UMM) numbers for inbound materials utilizing manufacturer cage code and manufacturer part number.
- Compile DD250 forms, contract documents, and warehouse movement forms to complete documentation requirements for material inventory management and delivery to final storage locations.
- Collaborates with operational levels of specific customers and company management.
- Analyzes basic to moderately complex contractual documents, technical specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) to identify products delivered and what customers and programs they support.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Must be continuously flexible to changing requirements.

Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of related experience.
- Education requirements may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience of 5 years or more within the industry.
- Must be able to obtain / maintain an active SECRET level clearance (post employment) U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Experience using Webflis or Fedlog.
- ERP experience 1 – 2 years.
- Knowledge of CMPRO.
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to assist with project requirements.
- Must be able to pass required training and physical examination to operate pallet jacks, electronic walkie stackers, and forklifts to move materials.
- Ability to read engineering and technical drawings, prints, blueprints, or schematics.
- Basic knowledge of hardware specification to include screw sizes and grades, thread width, etc.
- General application of material movement concepts and principals.
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal relationships with coworkers and customers.
- Proficiency in key Microsoft Office applications is required to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred qualifications:
- Logistics/Material Handling experience is preferred to demonstrate general fundamental knowledge to include familiarization with condition code tags, cage codes, and able to research shipping requirements (HAZMAT, international shipping requirements, etc)
- Experience in operating material movement equipment such as pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and forklifts is highly desired.
- Background in DOD contracting is preferred.
