JOB SUMMARY
Manage the daily transactions of all items received to the dock and all customer shipments leaving the dock including all transactions for shipping and receiving entered into Oracle. Assist with managing consumable supply inventory through the creation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and manage the flow of materials in and out of the facility. Reports to Supply Chain Manager.

Assist with managing consumable supply inventory through the creation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and manage the flow of materials in and out of the facility. Reports to Supply Chain Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Collaborate with procurement to determine expected deliveries and assist with any matching hold issues that arise.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and logistic companies to process customer shipment to maintain OTD
- Verify, sign off and enter receipt of incoming shipments into Oracle in a timely manner.
- Visually inspect contents to ensure packages aren't damaged.
- Responsible for document accuracy and verification of receipts with open orders.
- Compare identifying information (counts, weights or measures) of shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Manage and monitor the usage of consumable inventory items, in collaboration with production and disburse items as needed to appropriate departments physically and within Oracle.
- Maintain neat, clean and orderly receiving and shipping areas, as well as supply crib.
- Package finished goods inventory for customer shipments per the SOP.
- Schedule and process shipments utilizing contracted logistics companies.
- Print packing slips utilizing Oracle.
- Maintain accurate files and records.
- Assist in inventory control including cycle counting, physical inventories monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Assist with WIP audits and inventories as needed.
- Create and submit Oracle purchase requisitions and purchase orders for consumable inventory items.
- Education and experience: High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Proven record of execution in roles requiring administrative accuracy and close attention to detail required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for administrative professional environments required.
- Other required knowledge, skills & abilities: ability perform basic math skills.
- Shipping and receiving experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in ERP systems (Oracle) preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory management preferred.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing and production preferred.
- Working Environment: Production floor; office environment
- PPE Required: Safety glasses & nitrile gloves in certain inventory / production areas
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Frequent stand, sit, stoop
- Frequent walking and walking up stairs
