This Supply Chain position will be responsible for managing various aspects of the forecasting and SIOP processes, as well as creating and managing reports that will monitor and improve the overall efficiency and consistency of the supply chain and operations teams. This role will also be responsible for identifying and implementing ways to improve on time deliver, inventory investment, and supply chain efficiency to achieve measurable results. The position will analyze necessary reports, expedite decisions, perform problem resolution, and work with the production planning team to support schedule adherence. This position works within the ERP system and other data reporting systems to data mine necessary information. The person will also update the system when needed as part of forecasting, safety stock and cycle count management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Demonstrate a high level of understanding of operations-related business processes and common analytics, MRP, and inventory management
- Coordinate product forecasting and safety stock setting with the product and financial teams, and format this data and other plans for import into the ERP system
- Expand SIOP process documentation within the manufacturing site and align with corporate SIOP team
- Provide data for SIOP and other regular meetings held by the leadership teams and in most cases will be part of presenting this data and actioning any changes necessary
- Utilize software tools like Excel and Power BI to analyze data and create and track KPI's
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, and assist with production and component planning
- Lead cross functional projects to effectively drive change in on time delivery, cost, inventory and payment terms
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors and present findings.
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Research inaccuracies and suggest corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Work independently and achieve a high level of work volume and accuracy
- Collaborate with teams across various departments to enhance efficiency and visibility
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree required
- 1-3 years of previous supply chain, operations, and/or logistics experience
- Advanced computer/data entry skills
- Proven advanced Microsoft Excel skills - analysis, graphs, pivot tables, etc
- Prior experience with Oracle ERP system
- Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 plus years of combined experience in MRP, material planning and scheduling, inventory control and/or supply chain management
- Experience in Power BI and/or SQL programming language
- Master's degree in supply chain or engineering preferred
- Experience in Lean Scheduling or Lean Manufacturing
