Supply Chain Project Manager
We are looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join our Target Rock team!
As our Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring on time supplier delivery of products and services required to support the business unit’s financial needs and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory and services cost effectively, while ensuring schedule adherence. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing.

Salary/hourly rate: $72,700 to $104,000

Your Challenge
+ Interacts closely with suppliers, QA and Engineering to resolve supplier quality and/or technical issues. In this role, the Project Manager/Expeditor will expedite a variety of complex or technical supplies and services to meet delivery commitments.
+ Works with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability.
+ Track open requisition to purchase order placement. Ensure purchase orders are placed within the allotted time.
+ Track open purchase order status to ensure supplier delivery commitments are on time and meet manufacturing and production need dates.
+ Maintain and track supplier NCRs and RTV for Supplier Returns. Expedite, as needed, internal stakeholders for supplier return product.
+ Conducts supplier site visits to review and support supplier quality and delivery performance.
+ Ensure supplied material is sent out from the facility to support suppliers’ promise date.
+ Enter and track procedures to and from suppliers. Expedite both internal and external stakeholders, as needed, to resolve procedure submittal, review and approval.
+ Identify areas for supply chain process improvements and lead initiatives to streamline processes.
+ Perform regular supply chain risk assessments and lead risk mitigation initiatives.
What You Bring
+ Associate’s degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
+ Must be a US Citizen.
+ Four (4) to Six (6) years related experience in supply chain
+ Experience with MS Office and other applicable SC systems.
+ Knowledge of engineering drawings(preferred) and purchasing techniques.
+ Ability to communicate the business schedule needs across internal and external stakeholders.
+ Detail oriented and driven to proactively manage the flow of material into and out of the facility.
+ Understanding of Microsoft Projects or other scheduling tools (ASCP shortage sheet).
