We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our Finance team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our business, ensuring that all aspects of our supply chain are effectively managed. From demand and production planning to warehouse management and purchasing, this role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the material planning process.
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Planner's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the demand planning process, ensuring that all forecasts are accurate and timely.
2. Managing the production planning process, coordinating with various departments to ensure that all products are produced on schedule and within budget.
3. Supervising warehouse operations, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and accounted for.
4. Preparing and analyzing material coverage reports, identifying any potential issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
5. Coordinating the order planning process, working closely with the sales team to ensure that all customer orders are accurately processed and fulfilled.
6. Overseeing the purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
7. Continuously improving the material planning process, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Planner role will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Finance industry.
2. A strong understanding of demand planning, production planning, warehouse management, and purchasing.
3. Experience preparing and analyzing material coverage reports.
4. Proven experience in order planning and the material planning process.
5. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.
6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
9. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or a related field.
