Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage key supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
2. Lead and manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
3. Utilize ASICS methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
4. Implement Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality control and minimize defects.
5. Conduct accurate forecasting to predict demand and ensure optimal inventory levels.
6. Oversee production planning, ensuring that production schedules align with demand and inventory targets.
7. Manage inventory, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained to meet production needs while minimizing carrying costs.
8. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, production, and finance, to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies and objectives.
9. Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in ASICS methodologies, with a proven track record of successfully implementing these strategies to improve operational efficiency.
4. Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of quality control processes and methodologies.
5. Extensive experience in procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
6. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices, including forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.
7. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex supply chain concepts to a variety of audiences.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues in a timely and effective manner.
