The Strategy and Operations Manager will be part of the New Restaurant Models team within the Merchant Strategy & Operations organization. This team focuses on developing innovative and capital-light ways to add new restaurant options for consumers and create new revenue streams for merchant partners. The Culinary Strategy team plays a critical role in this work by partnering with merchants and cross-functional teams to develop operating playbooks for building, testing, and launching new brands through new channels.
About the Role:
The Strategy and Operations Manager will be responsible for driving the strategy and development of the supply chain function. This includes selecting distributor partners, identifying manufacturers, and enabling processes to scale brands nationally. The role involves building and executing playbooks to scale multiple licenses and collaborating with cross-functional teams on go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy for enabling food distribution nationally through partnerships with distributors and manufacturers
- Drive go-to-market planning and execution for new licenses to bring concepts to market
- Build models to define supply chain success, monitor and drive product KPIs, and support cross-functional teams
- Work cross-functionally with Culinary Development and Sales teams to land key initiatives
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in strategy, business development, operations, technology, consulting, or related fields
- Proven track record of leading highly cross-functional initiatives and achieving goals in a complex and fast-moving environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical thinker with the ability to derive actionable recommendations from complex datasets
Preferred Location: San Francisco (other locations require 8-10 weeks of travel per year to the Bay Area)
