Shelby Baptist Medical Center: Located in Alabaster, this facility is equipped with 252 beds and sees over 51,000 patients in the emergency department every year. Shelby offers advanced technology resources including a 3 Tesla MRI, a robotic surgery program, and a state-of-the-art cardiology suite. Shelby offers a full range of services to meet the diverse needs of patients including fast, life-saving response times for patients with chest pain or stroke symptoms; cardiology, including specialized surgical services; orthopedics, including rehabilitation; and psychiatric care.

Job Summary
Manages and the overall supply chain operations for a facility or multiple facilities, including purchasing and inventory of materials. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations in order to meet established goals. Coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products. Oversees most day to day operations of the group. Interacts with customers to ensure needs are being met. Leads and directs the work of others. Reports to the Supply Chain Director. Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.

Education
Bachelors degree.

Experience
4 yrs Supply Chain experience in lieu of degree.

Certifications
Certified Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP), preferred
