We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Purpose
Under the supervision of the Manager of Distribution, the Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the assistance, coordination, planning, and execution of daily activities of order fulfillment for LivWell Retail locations, Wholesale customers, and inbound receiving of wholesale medicated product to the cultivation facility. This position is responsible for ensuring orders a fulfilled in a way that adheres to company's FIFO policies, and is also responsible for ensuring orders are fulfilled in a way that maintains the Sativa/Indica balance at stores as best as possible. Duties will include thorough supervision of all distribution aspects to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient preparation of orders, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards and regulations, inventory monitoring, supervision of employees, and will also include advanced METRC responsibilities and advanced Counterpoint responsibilities.
The salary for this position is 55,000/yr
Essential Duties
Inventory Control and Order Fulfillment Planning
- Preparation of order pick lists
- Ensuring efficient order planning, selection, and picking of all LivWell orders and Wholesale orders
- Daily monitoring of inventory levels at Franklin North and all Retail locations
- Communication of fulfillment needs with the Manager of Distribution
- Ensuring Trim inventory is transferred in a timely manner.
- Communication with retail management regarding order discrepancies and other issues
Security and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audit are in place to ensure data and processing integrity
- Troubleshoot and address problematic inventory issues in METRC and Counterpoint
- Assist Distribution staff in daily activities as needed, to include manifesting, Counterpoint transfers, checking and sealing totes as well as delivering product if needed.
- Ensure allowable gram limits at retail locations are evaluated daily to assist in distribution planning
Work Environment
- Adhere to all work safety requirements including but not limited to lifting, bending, and move up and down ladders throughout shift.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools and related equipment to ensure systems are well maintained.
- Keep doors closed when not in use.
- Wear protective clothing when working with plants.
- Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair
Other Duties
- Ensure vehicle maintenance checks are being performed at regular intervals
- Other duties as assigned
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Distribution
- This person supervises non-exempt Distribution employees
- Promote a work environment that is positive, supportive, and team oriented
- Troubleshoot and address problematic inventory issues in METRC and Counterpoint
- Identify trends in employee errors communicating them back to the Manger of Distribution.
- Ensure FIFO policy is adhered to when fulfilling orders
- Ensure Proper Sativa/Indica balance across all locations, communicating back to the Manager of Distribution any product needed from the Packaging department.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of product
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- A minimum of one years' work experience in a related industry or work environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Knowledge of various computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Apps
- Prior experience working in METRC required
- Prior experience working in Counterpoint recommended
- Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
- General understanding of compliance and regulatory issues regarding medical and recreational marijuana
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Labor Marijuana Enforcement Division
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in business management, business operations, supply chain, logistics, statistics or related area of study preferred or equivalent experience preferred

Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer and/or hand tools for extended periods of time

- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds overhead on a regular basis
- Regular and on-time attendance
- Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week
- Strict adherence to assigned shift
- Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required
