About the Job
New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is currently seeking a full time, Monday-Friday, Supply Chain Coordinator, to work with in our brand new Westbrook Clinic. The supply chain coordinators responsible for ordering, receiving, storing and distributing a variety of items, including materials, supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This includes maintaining accurate records of all inventories, tracking stock levels and reordering items as needed. The supply chain coordinator is responsible for ensuring items are properly labeled and stored according to all company, local and federal regulations. Additionally, the supply chain coordinator is responsible for helping maintain a clean and organized work environment.
The person in this role must have a working knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical supplies. They must be able to work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure supplies and medications are received in a timely manner and stored appropriately. The supply chain coordinator must have strong communication skills.
NECS is a private medical practice composed of 18 oncologists and hematologists serving the region from five separate locations in Maine and New Hampshire. - Maintain inventory records and reorder clinical, office and administrative supplies as needed
- Develop, implement and maintain par level stocking system
- Label supplies appropriately, including expiration dates
- Maintain appropriate stock rotation to minimize waste
- Work collaboratively with site leadership for efficient ordering and movement of supplies
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders in regard to supplies
- Manage any shortages and identify supplemental supplies
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support all departments and locations in supply management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable programmatic, local, state and federal regulations as they relate to supply management and storage
- Travel to other NECS sites as needed

Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 3 years relevant experience, medical office experience preferred
- CPSM Certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
