Must have these skills:
3 years of experience in forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization.
3 years of experience with SQL, Python, Proficiency in pandas, NumPy, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis
Summary:
The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage and measure global asset management. A typical Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for buying goods and services, and analtse performance of suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
" Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
" Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally
" Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
" Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
" Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization
" Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
" Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
" Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
" Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
Skills:
" Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
" Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
" Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
" Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
" Knowledge of supply chain management.
" Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
